Summary[]
While being dragged past the chemistry lab by Karane, Rentarou looks inside and zings with one of the girls that happens to look at him when he’s going past—his 5th soulmate. He is unable to speak with her, however, as his girlfriends want to go and get limited-time pancakes at a nearby café. He returns to the chemistry lab the next day to look for the girl but is unable to find her. Instead, he encounters a young girl going by the name Yakuzen Kusuri, who is part of the chemistry club. She offers him some tea and goes off to prepare a drug, thinking that Rentarou is here to see it. Despite his attempts to speak with her during this, but she doesn’t listen to him.
She presents him with a “Human Magnetization Drug” which gives the iron in a person’s blood magnetic properties. After Rentarou is forced into drinking it, his body starts attracting several nearby metal objects. Kusuri consumes the same drug but with reversed polarity causing the two of them to become stuck together. However, Kusuri has difficulty separating herself from Rentarou because the magnetism is stronger than she anticipated. This situation would have been manageable as the drug wears off after 10 minutes, but Kusuri happened to be at the limit of holding in her pee. Due to frequently leaking after holding it in for so long, Kusuri now frequently wears a diaper and states that she will just let it out whilst being stuck to Rentarou, but he urges her to keep it held in.
After the drug wears off, Rentarou attempts to ask Kusuri about the soulmate from yesterday, but he finds himself distracted by the feelings he seemed to mysteriously develop for Kusuri. She reveals that she spiked the tea he was offered earlier with a “Love Potion” and admits that she fell in love with him at first sight. Kusuri assumes that Rentarou won’t be able to reject her, but instead, he turns to a nearby sink and vomits. Mistaking this as Rentarou’s rejection of her feelings, she begins to cry. Rentarou quickly clarifies that he wanted to puke out the love potion so he can respond to her confession properly. His body begins to spasm, which Kusuri describes as a sign his body is rejecting the drug. She attempts to administer the “Drug Neutralization Drug” but she struggles to get it into his mouth. Concluding that the only option is to force the drug into his mouth through a kiss, she does just that.
Kusuri starts to feel depressed that the effects of the love potion have worn off, but Rentarou questions if they actually have because she still looks really cute to him. She asks again if Rentarou will go out with her, this time while prostrating herself. He asks her to raise her head, but as she is doing so, she transforms into an older version of herself. This older form is who Rentarou zinged with the day prior—his fourth soulmate. Kusuri’s older form is her true appearance, but due to the side effects of a failed “Immortality Drug”, she is stuck in her younger form. She can transform back to her older form for 10 to 20 minutes by drinking the “Drug Neutralization Drug”, but she prefers her younger form anyway because her eyesight is better and her hair doesn't get in the way. Rentarou returns her confession by prostrating himself and stating that he is looking forward to their relationship.

- In Yakuzen Kusuri (薬膳 楠莉), the name Kusuri (楠莉) can be written as 薬 (still Kusuri) which means "medicine/drug". Combined with her surname 薬膳 (Yakuzen) which is medicinal food, both her first and last name are related to drugs, just like Aijou Rentarou having the kanji for love in both his first and last name.
