Summary[]
Mimimi has been given a request from Ohananomitsu High's "Muse-ical Club" (a club that puts on plays based on a muse) to replace their lead actress as the star of their newest production due to her natural beauty. Mimimi accepts with great intent to make her beauty known. However several days later, Mimimi gripes to the Family that acting is harder than she thought; with her way too far away in her abilities as an actress compared to her partners! As Mimimi asks for advice to improve her acting skills, Rentarou realizes that if acting is "taking on a role", the beauty should practice by taking on the "roles" of all of the members of the family, seeing it as easier than pretending to be a fictional character!
With that said, Mimimi begins to "act" like the other members of Rentarou's Family, playing roles as practically every member of the Family but not without fault: she can't fully mimic Meme's Misdirection Technique being much louder than her vanish, getting complaints from Momoha that she is acting like her when she refuses to let others be that way, becoming too timid to try and be Nano due to her own beauty and emphasizing her cold personality, pretending to be both Kishika's chivalrous and baby personalities upsetting her, and Chiyo feeling regret that Mimimi's beautiful face is screwed up by her angry expression. After completing her run of the entire Family, Mimimi comes to the realization that acting is not about reading lines or making faces but necessitating the feelings of the role that the audience can't see; she ultimate decides to use it to motivate her performance while Rentarou decides to play all the other parts to help her prepare.
However by the day before the play, Mimimi surprisingly decides she wants to bow out; no one understands until Uto reads the script seeing there's a kissing scene at the very end. At the same time in the Muse-ical Club's meeting place, the club is wondering what they're going to do without Mimimi as the star and her threat to quit the role. The president's reasoning: with how beuatiful Mimimi is, she has to show up and perform in order to flaunt that beauty to others, thus she'll return and he'll be able to kiss Mimimi as was intended with the play. On the roof, Rentarou pardons himself as he heads into another part of the school where he throws a massive fit about not wanting Mimimi to kiss someone she doesn't love before returning to the Family, where he states that he doesn't want Mimimi to bow out for his sake since this is her chance to show off her beauty to the school and that he still wants to see Mimimi performing on the stage. But Mimimi replies that she feels repugnant in giving her lips to anyone but Rentarou and she chose to not participate; but Rentarou states to not force herself for his sake into this position. Mimimi responds that with him her boyfriend and her his girlfriend, she rather he shares his honest feelings than to bend over backwards to appease her. Rentarou becomes saddened stating his feelings of Mimimi kissing someone else feels deathning, which is what Mimimi thought so she repays his honesty with her own in that knowing what Rentarou feels makes her love him all the more. Ultimately with Rentarou's assistance and their own negotiation, the kiss is ultimately cut from the play.
Eventually the Muse-ical Club's play, "The Beautiful Princess's Beautiful Encounter with a Beautiful Flower", goes on at the school. Mimimi performs her lines as she's expected to, but when it's time for the Prince (played by the president) to appear, he does not, forcing Mimimi to ad-libs lines on the spot! Realizing there's a problem, Rentarou rushes backstage and discovers the entire Muse-ical Club cowering, realizing Mimimi's so beautiful that they can't even move or stop shaking in her presense! Rentarou yells at the club, yelling at them to crawl on their hands and knees onto the stage and that if they screw the play up after all the work Mimimi put into it, he will bury all of them away! The president tells Rentarou to do it himself; and thus as Mimimi continues to ad-lib, she suddenly hears the voice of the prince, only to discover Rentarou playing the role! Mimimi realizes that with how much Rentarou practiced, he memorized the script and thus plays along with him. In fact, Rentarou ends up ultimately playing every single other role in the play, shocking and surprising the entire Family as he becomes the only one able to stand on the stage with Mimimi by the end of the play. Happy with what Rentarou did for her, Mimimi decides to add the kiss back into the performance, ending it successfully.
However while the play was ultimately a hit, it was less due to Mimimi's beauty and more due to Rentarou playing the other sixteen roles, forcing Mimimi to polish herself to keep up.
