Extra Pages[]
A young Eira has defended a girl being beaten up by bullies with her capoeira; however the girl's hat fell into the river leading to Eira to get it for her.
By the time she returns to her family home, her father complains about how she's drenched and will catch a cold, but Eira obliviously believes she can take colds down with physical strikes as well! Ignoring the comment, Mr. Kaho asks why his daughter is drenched and she explains about the hat, but Mr. Kaho states the river is more active than usual due to the rain the previous day, only for Eira to once again state she can take it down with physical attacks! Eira's father takes her aside and reveals that there are things that can't be defeated by physical attacks, including colds and rivers. Eira is in doubt claiming that strong characters like the Hulk or All Might can defeat anything physically, clearing fires and changing the weather with wind pressure, making her upset and running away as she proclaims she can take anything out with a kick, forcing Mr. Kaho into action!
That night as Eira sleeps, she hears a crack at her door; as she opens it, she discovers the appearance of a ghost. She tries to kick it multiple times but nothing happens, leading to Eira to tumble away in fear about it's invulnerability; even though the ghost is ultimately revealed to be her father holding a prop while hiding in her dark closet.
Thanks to him, Eira finally learned the truth of the world, but a little too well as she tumbles in cowardice as lightning strikes near the capoeira dojo.
