Summary[]
Introducing the 26th girlfriend, a songstress prodigy. But no time to dwell on that, let's talk about taiyaki.
Renatarou introduces Himeka to the family, surprising Meme who is a fan of her. Himeka introduces herself by asking the others what part of taiyaki do they prefer to start with; Nano states "the head" because it is efficient, Momiji states "the tail" because it's soft, Mei states "the back" so the "tai" remains upright, and Yaku states "the belly". Himeka smugly states she starts with the anal fin because she is "abnormal", which confuses many. Himeka tells everyone that she sees the family as too "normal" for her and that she can't hang out with them because if she does, then she'll be seen as "normal" as well, so while she still intends to date Rentarou, she doesn't want to be a part of the family and prepares to leave. Karane takes offense at Himeka's attitude while huffing, which gives Rentarou an idea that makes him tell Karane that what she's doing will make people think she has a thing for oxygen, causing her to "tsundere" her feelings about merely breathing, surprising the idol as Rentarou defends her stating she'll "tsun" oxygen if she has to, making Himeka call her out as "abnormal".
Karane becomes annoyed by Himeka's comment and yells she will not accept her as one of Rentarou's girlfriends, with Kishika adding that Himeka's attitude towards people whom she hasn't met isn't chivalrous at all. Hahari and Ahko, however, start patting Kishika on the head to try and calm her from fighting, making her "melt" into a baby, shocking Himeka as she calls her behavior abnormal. She also calls Ahko's strange for thinking that Kishika's behavior is "cute", while calling Hahari the most deviant one for offering her breasts to Kishika.
Iku and Rin approach Himeka asking if she likes sports or music, making her think at first they're normal. But when Iku realizes she doesn't have a ball to hit with the bat, she offers to do paddling while giving the bat to Rin, who hits her with glee, prompting Himeka to call them "weird and weirder". Mimimi admits she doesn't like being called "normal" and asks Himeka about her "stand-out beauty"; Himeka says beautiful people aren't rare, but Rentarou tells Himeka that Mimimi considers herself the most beautiful person in the world, which he completely agrees with which the idol states is abnormal even for narcissists. Nano states she has the highest test scores but can't do anything else otherwise; Himeka thinks that's "normal" until Rentarou adds she's so smart that people consider her possibly an "AI", which Himeka calls both normal and abnormal.
Uto admits that a "wandering minstrel" such as herself is peculiar in modern times but would be "normal" in a past era; Himeka thinks she's pretending to be a bard, but Rentarou states she acts like a bard 24/7, making Himeka call her mind eccentric. Momoha appears stating she loves money and booze and gambling, which Himeka also claims is a "dime-a-dozen" until Rentarou reveals she's the school's ethics teacher, which she says makes her abnormal on every single level. Momiji then reveals her abilities for massaging which appears normal until she asks if she can feel up Himeka's breasts, with Himeka calling Momiji a weirdo by nature.
Kusuri soon appears revealing her desire to make drugs, which Himeka thinks is normal until she asks if she's in elementary school, leading to the revelation of her being 18 but living as an 8-year old due to the failed immortality drug, which Himeka calls abnormal even for drug addiction. Kusuri then reveals that her grandmother Yaku is 89 due to a similar situation, though Himeka says it isn't abnormal to lie about one's age, but it definitely is to do it by a century. Suu becomes annoyed by Himeka calling everyone abnormal as if it's the only word she knows, but Kusuri decides to play along as she sees her like a broken toy. As such, Kusuri tells Himeka that Mei drives with her eyes completely closed; Mai thinks she's a little sister without an actual older sister; Naddy is Japanese pretending to be American; Tama gave up being a human to be a cat; Yamame keeps flowers and butterflies in her hair, and that Hakari "lizzes" when things get too excited, all of which Himeka calls abnormal.
Himeka is amazed by how strange everyone she has met are, but approaches the remaining girls (Shizuka, Meme, Chiyo, Eira, Kurumi, and Suu) and says they all look normal...until a gust of wind blowing with it a porno mag, a flying squirrel, the scent of curry, and a "zero-yen cell phone flyer" towards them; Shizuka gets blown away because she's so light, Meme vanishes out of embarrassment from the magazine while Chiyo calls it litter and growls at it; Eira tumbles away from the squirrel because she can't take out with a kick; Kurumi starts hungering for curry; and Suu flirts with the "0". Himeka finally admits that everyone in the entire family is abnormal and apologizes for her earlier remarks, saying she would be proud to be a part of the family because their oddities will make her truly seen as abnormal if she hangs out with them. The girls realize that Himeka admires "abnormality" and has been complimenting and appreciating their unique charms, though they know that if they accept what she is saying about them, then it's conceding to her whims.
Regardless, they appreciate her honesty and ultimately accept her. Himeka tells Rentarou how surprised she is that a "normal" person like him would date such an abnormal group. Overhearing, Uto and Naddy respond by showing Himeka every weird thing Rentarou's done for them over 150 chapters, making her appreciate how abnormal he is as they profess their love for each other and kiss.
