Rentarou's Family's Daily Life (Part Seven) (
Summary[]
A collection of Rentarou's Family's precious moments ❤
Sneaky, Silent Cats[]
Uto is caught off guard by Tama suddenly appearing behind her, but she tries to play it cool as everyone comments how it is typical for cats to sneak up on someone and surprise them. Nano adds Tama is especially good at erasing her presence, to the point that Kusuri says she could make it as an assassin, but Tama refuses, not wanting to do the work (though Karane points out she should at least have a problem with taking another life). Tama apologizes for spooking Uto, but she claims it was a lapse in focus on her part and that she is good at detecting others. Later, however, Tama sneaks up on her again, spooking her.
Senpai's Size[]
Nemu thanks Saki for treating her to a popsicle but asks why she asked to meet. Saki tells Nemu she wants to know how a middle schooler such as herself can be so tall, but Nemu doesn't think she's doing anything unless sleeping more than usual counts, though that doesn't really help Saki since she gets the same amount of sleep. Soon, Nemu starts nodding off, so Saki starts carrying her. Nemu wakes up and apologizes for needing to be carried, but Saki tells her not to worry. Nemu tells Saki she doesn't care about how tall she is and thinks she has a gigantic heart instead, which Saki is pleased to hear.
Capoeira Artist Ahko[]
While doing capoeira on the rooftop, Ahko tells Eira she is super cute and cool when she's doing it, calling her a "battle girl." Shizuka says Eira is like Ahko's evolved form with Mimimi adding she might need a few more forms first, only to be told by Chiyo that she's thinking Digimon right now. Still, Ahko tries imitating Eira's moves, but she fails to pull them off successfully, so Eira suggests she with regular kicks first.
Number Make-Believe[]
Kusuri asks Suu to play with her, but Suu isn't interested in Kusuri's style of games. She changes her mind when Kusuri suggests they play "Number Make Believe." Kusuri poses as a "nine," while Suu poses as a "five." However, Kusuri is caught off guard by Suu treating them like a couple by asking if they would like to make "95" or "59" and becomes even more confused when she throws more numbers into the mix. Later, Suu asks Kusuri to play again, but Kusuri refuses because she doesn't understand the game. To compromise, Suu offers to play a game she wants today and Number Make Believe tomorrow, which Kusuri accepts.
When There's a Festival Nearby and You Can Even Hear the Music but You Can't Go Until Later[]
Matsuri starts throwing a tantrum because she wants to go to a festival but she can't right now, but Kurumi tells her to shush. Matsuri counters asking Kurumi when was the last time she threw a tantrum when she wanted something but couldn't have it. In response, Kurumi starts yelling she wants to eat all these various foods, and the two spend some time complaining. After they calm down, Kurumi realizes it feels very refreshing, and now the two of them can get through afternoon classes, and afterward, they can go to a festival.
Nausicaä of the Valley in the Floor[]
Yamame sees some students poking at a crack in the ground when a ton of insects come swarming out. The students are repulsed by the insects, but Yamame is not, as she offers to take the swarm of bugs back to the forest. Shiina drops by and offers to help Yamame take the bugs to the forest, telling Yamame she wished she was a bug so she could be bunched up in a swarm. Shiina tells Yamame she hopes the bugs can make many friends in the forest, and Yamame returns the sentiment.
I've Had an Inkling About Meme-san's "Nature" For a While Now... So Let Me Be the One to Open That Door For Her![]
On the rooftop, Meme sees Mai reading a book she remembers Shizuka reading and asks what it is about. Mai tells Meme that the book is about a same-sex relationship, which causes Meme to blush profusely. Mai asks Meme if she has ever entertained the fantasy of a same-sex relationship in her head, with her nervous reaction confirming she has. Mai begs Meme to tell her more about it, and Meme confesses she fantasizes about Rentarou being in a relationship with himself. The thought of Rentarou, who Mai sees as a hunk, dating another himself causes Mai to have a nosebleed and pass out, to Meme's worry.
Muscle Pain Woman vs. Groper Girl[]
Momiji starts chasing after Iku to massage away her muscle pain, which Iku doesn't want. However, knowing she will definitely catch her, Iku uses Naddy's lasso to grab her and tie her up. Though Iku was thrilled with her victory, she became jealous that Momiji was now tied up, so Iku offered to cut Momiji a deal, saying she'd untie her if she tied her up instead, which Momiji accepted. Once Iku is tied up though, Momiji starts massaging her, which causes Iku to accuse Momiji of tricking her, to Momiji's confusion.
Meru's Storytime[]
Kishika sees Meru reading a fairy tale to the little members of their family, which she considers admirable, but after a while, Kishika joins in, regressing to her infantile state. Meru sees the look of innocence in Kishika's eyes and is touched by it, believing her fairy tales made it happen. Days later, Meru starts coddling Kishika constantly due to wanting to protect her innocence, to Kishika's annoyance after she sobers up.
Kiki Breaking New Ground[]
At a music shop, Himeka ponders how to project "abnormal talent" in her next performance. She is surprised to see Yaku in the store to buy a CD of her music. Yaku admits modern music is lost on her, but she feels a connection to Himeka when she sings, which she appreciates. Knowing that Yaku enjoys old-fashioned enka, Himeka decides to do it herself, which gets people to call her "abnormal." Himeka hugs Yaku in joy over her accomplishment, while Yaku is extremely moved by her performance.
