Great Detective Hasuha and the Mysterious Affair at Rentarou's Family (

Rentarou introduces Hasuha to the rest of the girls as his newest girlfriend, though surprisingly, Iku and Yamame recognize her as they are classmates, stating that Hasuha once found the key to the clubroom for Iku one time and helped find an animal Yamame accidentally let loose in the school. Rentarou adds she cleared him of having taken a girl's panties, prompting Karane to ask what kind of rom-com hero catches those kinds of allegations. Speaking of, Hahari tells Rentarou that she washed his swim trunks from when he stayed the other night, but suddenly, the swim trunks that Hahari left out on the carpet for everyone to see disappeared. Hasuha decides to find the missing article of clothing (though Kurumi questions the manga's obsession with people's privates if the same thing will happen two chapters in a row).
First, Hasuha investigates Mei and picks up her refined scent, though she almost loses herself. Hasu calms down and says that the scent of Rentarou's trunks clings to Mei, Yaku, and Chiyo, but the three state they were just tidying them up; they didn't take it (though they did get a nice bonus acting like Rentarou's wife). Nano and Nemu are impressed, but Hasuha then turns to Ahko, Eira, Shizuka, Rin, Meme, and Yamame, saying they also handled his swimwear. The six admitted they touched his trunks, but only to see how it felt; they also didn't take it.
Hasuha then confronts Mimimi, Nano, Meru, Naddy, and Uto, saying they have its scent on them too, but the five say they only took a look at them; they also did not take it, though Meru adds she drew a sketch of it after she touched it. Hasuha then turns to Momiji, Tama, and Suu, saying the scent clings to the three of them the most. Momiji, however, says she simply groped them, Tama played with them, and Suu tried making a number out of them, but neither of them took it.
Hasuha interrogates Karane, Mai, Matsuri, and Saki next, saying she can smell them off their faces. They rubbed them on their faces, but the four of them pridefully tried to deny it. Still, they did not take it, but Hasu sniffed as they were also on the heads of Shiina, Nemu, Kusuri, Himeka, Momoha, and Kishika. Kishika says she just tied it to her sword so she could pat herself on the head with it; Nemu used it as a pillow to sleep; Kusuri put it over her head to be a "trunks-man," Himeka put it on her head so she could be seen as abnormal (though Hahari points out a lot of people would do that with stolen underpants), and Shiina wanted to feel like she was surrounded by Rentarou. However, Momoha admits she put them on her head without any excuse and simply because she felt like it.
Hasuha then sniffs Hahari and Kurumi's mouths, saying she can smell it from there, but Hahari says she just kissed it, while Kurumi wanted to see how it felt in her mouth. She then turns to Iku and Hakari, saying she smelled it from their private places (which alarms Karane). Iku and Hakari claim they just paddled themselves with it, but Momiji flips the panel and it turns out Hakari put them on herself, to her immense embarrassment.
After investigating everyone, Hasuha concludes that everyone has an amazing scent, to everyone's confusion. Rentarou confesses Hasuha has a really sensitive nose, and Kishika realizes she didn't deduce anything. Regardless, Hasuha says she has nothing conclusive since all thirty-one people touched his trunks, but if she wants to hone in on other details, she decides to sniff Rentarou's current underwear, but he refuses. Instead, Hasuha pulls out Rentarou's swim trunks herself. Hasuha says she didn't take it, but she saw it being carried away by the wind and had no idea it was even his despite his scent coming off it. However, she announces that the wind is the culprit for its disappearance.
Still, everyone was impressed by Hasuha's dedication and admitted they probably wouldn't have ever known what happened without her, but Hasuha humbly says it was all typical for a great detective like herself. She then returns the trunks to Rentarou... but not before sniffing it again. Rentarou tries to get her to stop, but he pulls her closer to him, and the two have a romantic kiss, much to Karane's confusion.
