Rentarou's Family's Daily Life (Part Eight) ( (れん) () (ろう) ファミリーの (にち) (じょう) (その8 (はち) ) Rentarō Famirī no Nichijō (Sono Hachi)?) is the two hundred and eleventh chapter of the 100 Kanojo manga.

Summary[]

We present snapshots from the family's abnormally fairy-taley lives.♪

Abnormally Similar: Close, but No Cigar[]

While walking together at school, Himeka tells Meru that she doesn't take the lid of yakult bottles, instead she pokes a hole through it with a toothpick and drink it that way. Meru tells Himeka that she is filled with childlike and fairy tale-like innocence, and Himeka thinks about what that exactly means. Ultimately, Himeka figures that fairy tales are abnormal in their own fantastical and whimsical manner, and that makes her feel like she is abnormal too, which is what she wants. Meru concludes that Himeka aspires to fairy tales in her own unique fashion.

The Eldest Bancho of Today vs. The Feeblest Bunny in History[]

Matsuri defeats Saki in arm wrestling, but the latter tries to save face claiming that gravity was just pulling her hand to the ground. Shizuka sees Saki beginning to cry over her defeat and decides to challenge her to an arm wrestling match, which Saki accepts. After struggling for a bit, Saki manages to pin Shizuka's arm, making it her first ever arm wrestling victory in her life. Shizuka praises her and Saki tells her she will help her with whatever she needs. Unbeknownst to Saki, Shizuka had actually almost beat her, but Saki ended being tougher than her only by a tiny bit.

Comrades in Search of the Best Nap Spot[]

While sitting on a bench together, Nemu tells Tama that at this time of year, the sun hits the bench just right enough to enjoy a nice nap. The two fall asleep together and after waking up, Tama admits it was the perfect place to nap. In return, Tama takes Nemu to what she thinks is a great place to nap: Yaku's lap. Nemu feels she can't nap there because she isn't as small as Tama, but the look of comfort on her face in addition to her own tiredness makes Nemu fall asleep on Yaku's lap too, with the both of them holding hands.

The Wandering Minstrel and the Great Detective (That Title Alone Would Make You Think This Is About Some Particularly Clever Duo, Wouldn't It? Isn't That Funny)[]

Uto spouts off some more minstrel nonsense that Hasuha, who was nearby, believes, prompting her to praise her for being able to sense things beyond what a "Great Detective" like herself can find, which Uto says is only natural for a bard like herself. Uto offers Hasuha to join her on her travels, and Hasuha accepts thinking they may find some mysteries to solve. Ultimately, the two of them found nothing, but the walk was still fun.

Mad Scientist vs. Mad Gambler[]

Kusuri sees Momoha collapsed in front of her tent, and the latter explains she is starving, and she neither has any money to feed herself or vegetables in the garden to snack on. Kusuri offers Momoha a jar filled with drugs that she says have a sixty-six percent chance of satisfying her starving stomach and a thirty-three percent chance of giving her tummy trouble. Momoha downs the entire jar and comments on how it feels like she just ate a ton of mints and thanks Kusuri for sating her hunger. Unfortunately, Momoha ends up with stomach pains despite the good odds she had, prompting Kusuri to comment on how Momoha truly has no luck.

Uncommon Countenances[]

Hakari and Chiyo see each other while walking their dogs. When Alus and Wantarou start greeting each other, the two girls decide to let their dogs play with each other. Wantarou jumps on Chiyo and Hakari muses how fresh this carefree and innocent side of hers is. Hakari starts showering Alus with attention and Chiyo muses how fresh this dignified side of Hakari's is, as she can't remember the last time she didn't see Hakari making a weird and drooling face.

I Think You Know What Games They're Talking About[]

Miss Naddy sees that something is on Rin's mind and asks her why she looks downtrodden. Rin explains to Naddy that she can't pick between Pokémon: Scarlet or Pokémon: Violet, because while Scarlet is a pretty color to her because it is red like blood, Violet sounds very much like "violin", so she can't decide. Naddy, however, mistranslates the two games as "Scar Let's Go" & "Vio Let's Go", which confuses her. Though surprised by how off the mark she was, Rin patiently explained to Naddy her mistake, but she promptly forgets about it when she wakes up the next day.

Not a Cloud on the Forehead[]

On the rooftop, Mimimi asks Mei if she can't keep her eyes off her beauty, only for Suu to point out that Mei's eyes are always closed. Mei apologizes for "staring" at Mimimi and explains that her forehead reminded her of a vase at home, and now Mei wants to polish Mimimi's forehead to the same level of sheen the vase hs, the compliment pleasing Mimimi immensely. However, Mei sees nothing on Mimimi's forehead that would warrant a cleaning, though she wishes there was, to Mimimi's annoyance. Suddenly, a ball of dust flies onto Mimimi's forehead, causing her to fall down in shame while Mei cleans it off, her wish fulfilled.

Not Motherly, but Sisterly?[]

Mai collapses from exhaustion but Kishika picks her up and carries her bridal-style, which Mai is grateful for and causes her heart to flutter a bit. Kishika muses over how clumsy Mai is as Iku comments on how Kishika is perfect for the job of looking after her since she is an older sister to four younger siblings. Hearing that causes Mai to become flustered as she starts patting Kishika on the head while claiming that she considers Mei her only older sister while denying considering Kishika one. On the other hand, Kishika reverts to her infant state of mind and calls Mai "mommy", which at first she refuses until she realizes it would be better than being called a "little sister", much to Kishika's joy.

A Roight Matsuri Festival[]

Matsuri goes to the rooftop only to see Shiina there first having collapsed due to her autophobia. Matsuri tries to wake her up but it is to no avail due to it just being her. As such, Matsuri decides to become a "one-woman festival" to save her, doing a ton of different things all at once at great speed to make Shiina think there is more of her. It ultimately works and Shiina wakes up, gratefully hugging Matsuri for not making her feel alone.
