The Great Adventure of Pentarou (ペン () (ろう) (だい) (ぼう) (けん) Pentarō no Dai Bōken?) is the twenty-ninth chapter of the 100 Kanojo manga.

Summary[]

A TV says that all people with the Aries zodiac sign will have an amazing day, so much so that they might die from all the goodness. There’s a chance that those people will get an enormous amount of money, alongside a kiss of absolute happiness. Their lucky item is a flightless bird decoration. The vice principal, an Aries, is chasing an ostrich that escaped from a zoo, screaming for it to stop so she can stuff it and use it to get the rewards she’s owed.

Rentarou asks Kusuri if her zodiac sign is Aries, which she says yes to. She asks why he asked, but Rentarou just says that there’s no particular reason. Karane follows up with a better question of why Rentarou is on the roof in just his swim trunks, which he answers the same way. Kusuri begins to play with a small toy, prompting Hakari to ask her what she’s got. Kusuri tells her that the toy if from the anime “Pepepepentarou” which she got from the gacha machine when she was out shopping. She says that she loves it because the name and eyebrows are similar to Rentarou’s. She starts playing with it again and declares “the beginning of Pentarou’s adventure”.

Pentarou begins his adventure by climbing up a mountain (Shizuka), tickling her on the way up. Once he reaches the summit, he rides a huge bird (Shizuka’s book) through the sky. However, he quickly falls off the bird. He is saved by a soft mountain though (Hakari’s boobs), and Kusuri comments that if Pentarou fell a little more to the left, he would be in a lot worse situation. Karane, sat to Hakari’s left, gets agitated at Kusuri’s comment about her flat chest. Pentarou begins to climb down the mountain (Hakari), when Hakari begins to imagine Pentarou as a mini Rentarou. She tries to tempt him into a “cave”, but Karane stops her, saying that there’s a limit to how far she can go. Kusuri exclaims the Straight Man Monster Karagon (Karane) has showed up and has Pentarou call upon The Genie Kusurin (herself) to defeat it. Kusuri rams into Karane and attempts to push her over, but she doesn’t move an inch. Karane tells Kusuri to stop or she’ll hurt herself and Kusuri says that trying to push Karane is like going up against a wall. This statement angers Karane and she aggressively yells at Kusuri, sending her flying to the ground.

With The Genie Kusurin defeated, Pentarou must ask the Mother AI-san, The Administrator of the World (Nano) how to defeat Karagon. Pentarou asks Genie Kurumin (Kurumi) if she can assist and let him ride on her back. She refuses but is easily swayed into co-operation by Kusuri giving her a piece of hi-chew, after a big commotion of Kusuri trying to force Kurumi to eat Pentarou. Pentarou speaks to Mother AI-san and she tells her to target Karagon’s carotid artery. Pentarou attempts to attack Karane’s artery as Nano suggested but ends up tickling Karane instead. As plan A failed, Pentarou asks Mother AI-san if there is another solution. She tells him to try blocking her respiratory system, which results in Kusuri transforming into her older form and pulling Karane into her cleavage. With her pride and oxygen levels low, Karane gives in and Pentarou claims victory. With Karagon defeated, Pentarou has successfully saved the captured princess (Hahari) and is rewarded with a briefcase of cash.

As Kusuri states that Pentarou’s adventure is coming to an end, a gust of wind catches the reward that Pentarou is sat on, causing both it and Pentarou to fly into the air and over the guard rail of the rooftop. Kusuri dashes and jumps over the rail to grab Pentarou without thinking of the consequences. She starts to fall but Rentarou manages to grab her leg before she can fall too far. Rentarou thanks the school-issued tight swim trunks he’s wearing as it allowed him to reach Kusuri in time as he wasn’t blown back from the wind. He trusted the fortune telling and kept an eye on Kusuri the entire day due to the fortune telling saying that those with the Aries sign may die from all the goodness. Rentarou princess carries Kusuri back to the others and tells her that she needs to be more careful. She uses the opportunity to kiss Rentarou and end her story, saying that Pentarou and the prince lived happily ever after.

Whilst all of this was happening, the Vice Principal got kicked in the head by the ostrich she was chasing and is now on the verge of death.
