Karaoke Crisis (カラオケ・クライシス Karaoke Kuraishisu?) is the thirty-eighth chapter of the 100 Kanojo manga.
Summary[]
The group head to karaoke to spend their free time. Rentarou offers himself as sacrifice and sings several songs first to ease everyone in. After some time, Rentarou’s girlfriends begin singing after having settled into the atmosphere. Shizuka leaves the room to fetch a drink where Rentarou overhears her singing a song. After speaking with Rentarou, she contemplates whether she actually wants to sing or not, as she’s been sitting out due to being indecisive.
Kusuri has spiked the entire room with her “Makes-you-super-sensitive-to-cuteness drug” by the time Shizuka steps up to sing. When she starts to sing, shockwaves of cuteness begin radiating off her, blasting Rentarou and his girlfriends. Rentarou and Hahari are unable to withstand the cuteness and sent flying backwards into the far wall. One by one, each of Rentarou’s other girlfriends become unable to resist the cuteness and also get sent flying into the wall. Rentarou stands up and fights against the shockwaves whilst trying to approach Shizuka, as if she turns around to see everyone her heart would be broken. Once he reaches her, he begins singing with her in a duet so he can deafen the sound of her singing with his own. This duet sends out even stronger shockwaves of cuteness, blowing everyone away till the outside of building.
