Miss Naddy's 'Murrican Patrol (ナディー (せん) (せい) はアメーリカパトロール Nadī-sensei wa Amērika Patorōru) is the seventy-first chapter of the 100 Kanojo manga.

Summary[]

At the end of another school day, Miss Naddy decides to go to her "American home" by stopping at a McDonalds. But on her way, she sees Chiyo also heading home; she attempts to greet her but Chiyo states she doesn't want to join her. However Naddy confronts her stating she can go, but she does notice her movement as trudging and a lonely appearance, convincing the middle schooler to join the teacher for fast food.

At McDonalds, Naddy orders an entire meal while Chiyo only goes for small fries due to not wanting to spoil her dinner. As Naddy eats, Chiyo states that she has seen several of her classmates smoking at a nearby park, which nearly makes Naddy choke on her soft drink. As Chiyo continues, she states she's tried to convince the duo to stop smoking, but Akogare and Manesu state that if Chiyo rats on them, it will get teachers involved and get them expelled, making the situation worse! As Chiyo tries to work out the moralities being broken by their smoking in the park, Naddy tells her to just fight them with her fists; when Chiyo tells her no violence, the teacher then suggests sending threatening letters in psychological warfare! But instead, Chiyo thinks she has to do the right thing, but Naddy states that if they want to smoke in the park, let them pay the consequences. But Chiyo believes as class president, she has to keep trying to persuade the duo until they understand. The middle schooler apologizes for telling her and asks Naddy to not tell the family which the teacher agrees to before leaving, bringing her fries to go as Chiyo believes Naddy is as Japanese as she is with her appetite.

The next day, Rentarou's Family is walking home discussing what Totoro from "My Neighbor Totoro" is as Chiyo leaves them to deal with business, the others being worried for her and how serious her departure is from the rest of them as Naddy looks on worried. Arriving at the park, Chiyo confronts Akogare and Manesu still smoking as she chides them again for their behavior, but the duo worry for her worrying for them instead of just living her youthful life instead. Chiyo states she comes because she is class president but Akogare and Manesu see her merely as merely acting as a "faultless paragon". She asks the duo to give up their cigarettes but they state they cost more than a volume of Jump; when Chiyo tells them to buy Jump manga instead, they admit they don't even have enough allowance to buy the "East Blue Arc" of "One Piece"; and that Young Jump magazine and volumes of "100 Girlfriends" costs more and is worse for your brain! As Chiyo continues to feel more frustrated about her failures, she takes off her glasses believing she has to forcefully take the cigarettes away from Akogare and Manesu, but is only able to cry at her failure as she keeps thinking she has to make things right as class president.

But without warning, Miss Naddy appears on a rocking horse whirling a lasso as the "American Patroller" before she's thrown to the ground, distracting Chiyo, Akogare and Manesu! Calling herself "The American Patroller", Akogare yells at her to "go patrol America" as she tells them to stop smoking but he duo continue to act defiant. Thinking she has no other options, Naddy imagines a "Rampaging Rodeo" that would stop the duo even as they call her bluff; but the teacher starts twirling her "American Justice Lasso" at them only to be stopped by a direct attack by Chiyo from behind!

Seeing the horrific power at Chiyo's disposal, Akogare and Manesu run for their lives at the president's power, all while Naddy believes she was the one who stopped them. Chiyo looks on shocked at the duo running away in fear, but also watching in secret is Rentarou who had his own solution as "DJ No Smoking Before 20", but decides to withdraw realizing he wasn't needed.

AFterwards, Chiyo admits Naddy did get them to swear to stop smoking, but that the teacher's ends did not justify the means. Naddy believes Chiyo's sense of responsibility is out of line, but Chiyo doesn't believe it stating that as class president and teacher respectively, they need to set standards to obey the rules. Naddy sees admirable her need to do what's right and resolve, but also states that by forcing herself into a burden she can't handle, then there are no rules she needs to abide by in the first place! Naddy admits she sees a lot of her younger self in Chiyo forced to abide by status, duty and rules until she found her "American Destiny" and the ability to have freedom to take care of herself, telling Chiyo to do the same and "blaze her own trail".

But before long, two policemen show up at the park to ask questions about "a strangely-dressed woman attacking junior high students". Dropping her act, Naddy explains who she is to the officers as Chiyo admits that if she acts the way she does, this is what happens and they should have followed proper procedures; with the possibility Naddy could get away since she barely laid a hand on Akogare and Manesu. She finally realizes that the actions of the law isn't proper and starts speaking up to defend Naddy; when they officers states she won't be detained, the middle schooler grabs the teacher's hand and the duo run away, realizing they're lying to the police about what happened. The officers realize that the crazy woman was with a "serious little girl" and that nothing happened, with the same regarding the strange DJ hidden behind the trees. (Rentarou)

The next day at school, Akogare and Manesu have completely changed; they revealed they were only fake-smoking with toy cigarettes and that they now fully respect and embrace their class president, with both now sporting hair, glasses and similar peeved expressions to Chiyo, making the class president annoyed.
