May I Trouble You For a Love Story? (
Summary[]
While shopping at a mall, Rentarou decides to go on a bathroom break; only with the men's room on the opposite side of the building, he's forced to leave the girls for a few minutes. As he leaves, Iku admires a bracelet Mei bought; while Mimimi "naturally" loves the necklace she purchased.
Without warning, the girls are approached by a reporter from the TV show "May I Trouble You for a Love Story" and asks them if any of them have a boyfriend; which all 15 give a unanimous "yes" to! Seeing this as perfect fodder for their show, the reporter begins asking them questions:
- Hahari: She is asked about "the last time her boyfriend cherished her"; she states that he scooped her up from falling when her heel broke one a date and kept carrying her for the rest of the date!
- Meme: She mentions how her boyfriend held on to the clasps of her snapped bra, but mentioned that he needed to because a dozen safety pins wouldn't be enough to keep it held!
- Shizuka: She mentions how her boyfriend writes notes on his hands to memorize the new books she reads; and when something new comes out, he writes all over his body, even up to his ears!
- Nano: Her boyfriend held her hand when she trembled upon crossing a bridge until he decided to swim across the river with her riding him!
- Naddy: She reveals that she had been practicing rodeo riding due to her own problems in performing despite being "American", to the point that he played the horse!
- Yamame: She states her boyfriend supports her, to the point of holding on to her arms and legs when she was about to squash a bug!
- Hakari: She trapped her boyfriend in a room for some "puff-puff" and he did everything to resist her, literally slamming his head against a wall until he was knocked out!
- Karane: She hit her boyfriend out of embarrassment but he wasn't mad at all, despite gaining full-body compound fractures!
- Mimimi: She had dropped some black tea while wearing a beautiful Western dress, and her boyfriend sucked up all the tea before any of it could hit her!
- Momiji: She mentions that her boyfriend was helping her to build up her arms to become a masseuse by gaining massive Franky-like forearms!
The reporter continues to wonder with how bizarre their boyfriends are and continues to attempt to get a straight answer from the remaining girls.
- Chiyo: Her boyfriend chased a bird over mountains and rivers to save her glasses.
- Kurumi: Her boyfriend found matsutake mushrooms in a land covered in boars.
- Iku: Her boyfriend prevents her training from going too hard.
- Kusuri: Her boyfriend tests her drugs.
Finally with only Mei left, the reporter asks her about her scenario; she reveals her boyfriend wanted to show her a beautiful landscape on a date, giving the reporter hope that this is the story of a true boyfriend who surprises his girl. But Mei reveals that to open her eyes, he wore a Frieza costume to shock them open!
The reporter gives up, realizing that none of the love stories from the girls were relatable and that it was going to be a disaster airing anything with their stories. Seeing Rentarou, they approach him and he reveals he's a fan of "May I Trouble You for a Love Story" as they ask him "what his girlfriend is good at." His answer:
"She can work out all the kinks in my back, memorize dozen of books line by line, is super-sexy for a high schooler, never lets anything disorderly past her, is too beautiful, is rich enough to buy anything, works until her body falls apart, makes drugs like Doraemon's secret gadgets, does perfect calculations like an A.I., can vanish into thin air, do anything with her eyes closed, has a bottomless stomach, is two meters tall and stronger than a bear, is "American" despite being Japanese, and is tsundere towards the whole universe."
The reporter declares Rentarou a monster, but he takes offense stating that there isn't a person in existence cuter than his girlfriends and tries to get the camera turned off...
...And thus began the legend of the "Monster Boyfriend".

- While all of the girls were referring to Rentarou with their love stories, the only time he's mentioned during their testimonials is by Kurumi in response to Mimimi's story; thus to the perspective of the hosts of "May I Trouble You for a Love Story", Mimimi is the only one of the fifteen confirmed to be dating Rentarou.
