Summary[]
Nano offers to hang out with the guys and asks Hakari to go and find a male staff member to help Rentarou. She explains to a confused Hakari that since she was the latest to start dating Rentarou, he would be less concerned if anything were to happen to her. However, Hakari shoots down her suggestion, telling the guys that neither of them would hang out with them, and telling Nano that she doesn’t know a thing about Rentarou.
One of the men attempt to grab Hakari after her remark, but Rentarou charges in at the last moment to protect her, shouting at the men for attempting to attack his girlfriends. One of the men comments on how Nano crushed his friend’s eyes, to which Rentarou offers to hang out with them himself as payment. Ignoring him, the man tells Rentarou to take his girlfriend and leave, to which he states again that both are his girlfriends. Not believing him, the man instructs Rentarou to kiss both of them on the spot, assuming that he’ll be unable to, as he can’t kiss another girl in front of his girlfriend. Rentarou refuses to follow the instructions, but Hakari and Nano both kiss him themselves to prove that they are his girlfriends. The men flee after seeing this, with a very angry Rentarou yelling at them after the girls both kiss him, claiming that they’d never want such shameless women.
Hakari asks Rentarou how he regained consciousness and knew where they were, only to see a tired Karane running after Rentarou. Karane spotted Hakari and Nano in the distance speaking with the men and tried to look for Rentarou. She found him unconscious on the floor but managed to wake him up simply by stating that Hakari and Nano are in trouble, to which he springed up off the floor and sprinted to help them. Rentarou thanks Nano for protecting Hakari but tells her not to do anything so reckless again as he wouldn’t know what to do if something happened to her. Nano then apologies for her actions. Karane asks where Shizuka is as she isn’t with the group; Hakari also says that she hasn’t seen her since they left the lazy river. Rentarou panics, screaming that she is likely been drifting along the lazy river the entire time and once again sprints off to find her.
Shizuka’s phone runs out of battery just before she spots Rentarou looking for her. She concludes that she has to use her own voice and calls out to Rentarou who’s at the poolside. Despite having such a soft voice, Rentarou still hears her and rushes over to assist. He carries her bridal style from the island back to the poolside, where she takes the opportunity to sneak him a kiss before rejoining the others. Rentarou decides to take a break and sits down with Karane at the poolside. He tells Karane that he noticed her glancing at Hakari and Nano’s boobs often when they met up, and asks if she lost confidence in herself after seeing them in their swimsuits. She attempts to deny it, saying that she’s still just chilly, but Rentarou points out that a chilly person wouldn’t order a melon soda float. Karane confesses that she believes she is neither as feminine as Hakari and Nano nor cute like Shizuka.
Rentarou tells Karane to stand up, and after she does, he rips off her poncho. Embarrassed, Karane tries to cover herself and slaps Rentarou several times in the face while calling him a pervert. Despite the assault, he still calls her adorable, which makes her blush. Pulling her into a hug, he tells her that it doesn’t matter who is better or worse, and that each of the girls is special in their own way. With Karane’s “chills” cured, the two head to join the rest of the group in the pool, after exchanging a quick kiss.
