Even If It Kills Me (この
Synopsis[]
Having restrained Rentarou and Karane, Hahari continues to take a firm stance. This is based on her own experience of becoming a mother at a young age, and her wish as a mother to spare her daughter from leading an unhappy life based on temporary romantic feelings. However, Rentarou’s words are not false, even with the custom-made lie detector she has prepared to assess his feelings. Instead, it only further proves his sincerity. In the meantime, alone in her room, Hakari is thinking about her feelings…

- In the manga, Rentarou is seen professing his love for Hakari while sitting on the lie detector. In the anime, several dramatic, original sequences of Rentarou are shown as he does the same.
- In the manga, Shizuka is on the left when she, Nano and Kusuri dive into the pond to rescue Rentarou and Hakari. In the anime, Shizuka is in between Nano and Kusuri.
- In the manga, Karane pays back Rentarou for planting his face on her tummy by jumping on him, and kissing his stomach. In the anime, Karane simply plants her face on Rentarou's stomach.
- After getting discovered in the manga, Kusuri believes Rentarou and Karane were sumo wrestling. In the anime, Kusuri believes Rentarou and Karane were doing physical training (as they're doing pushups on the floor).
