Synopsis[]
Rentarou sees a woman in the chemistry room when he passes by and has a soulmate shock. When he visits the chemistry room the next day, the woman is gone and instead he finds a petite, cheerful girl named Kusuri Yakuzen. Rentarou tries to talk to her about the woman from yesterday, but he is constantly pushed around by the impulsive Kusuri. He is surprised at the effects of her dubious medicine she gives him, but when he looks at Kusuri, he finds her irresistibly cute and charming.

Manga and Anime Differences[]
- The panels on the first and second page are shuffled around a bit in the anime.
- A panel of Rentarou imagining Nano saying Kusuri's speech quirk, "Nanoda", was cut. This scene was actually planned but it had to be cut because it was too long.
- Rentarou's tea was served to him in a beaker in the anime instead of a regular cup.
- Kusuri's explanation as to why she wears a diaper was shortened.
- Hakari imagining seducing Rentarou was extended in the anime.
- The visuals for Nano being bald, fat and an alien are unique to the anime.
- Kusuri explains her dream in the anime.
- The end of the episode extends the 5 pages from chapter 11 and includes several anime original shots.
