Hahari Hanazono (
Originally introduced as Hakari's mother, and an antagonist in the story, she later becomes Rentarou Aijou's sixth girlfriend. Hahari currently serves as the chairwoman of Ohananomitsu High School, and also runs the Hanazono conglomerate.
Appearance[]
Hahari's Full Appearance (Loungewear)
Hahari is a beautiful young woman, with long pink hair and green eyes (features which she passed down to her daughter Hakari). Her hair has two tresses falling across her chest, and the rest drapes down her back. Hahari also has small white flower accessories throughout her hair, and a beauty mark just under her left eye.
Hahari is about the same height as Rentarou, and she has a voluptuous, curvy figure. With an I-cup, Hahari currently has the largest bust among all the members of Rentarou's Family.
Loungewear[]
While at home, Hahari usually wears a matching blouse and skirt as her loungewear.
The ensemble is white with a blue gradient, and has purple highlights along the hem. Hahari's blouse has a decolletage (a plunging neckline accentuating her large bust), and a ribbon across her midriff. Her skirt reaches her knees, has a slit across the front, and another opening at her lower back just above her butt.
Hahari completes her look with white flats, and a necklace with a small purple flower charm.
Workwear[]
While at work, Hahari dresses more professionally. She wears a dark blue suit with a white hem, white buttons, and a maxi-skirt, over her usual loungewear blouse.
Hahari also wears heels at work, and does her hair up in a bun with one lock of hair trailing down her right shoulder.
Personality[]
Hahari appears as a very mature and sophisticated woman until she sees something cute. She also has an uncontrollable love for cute things, including children, as well as Rentarou Aijou and his family. When she finds something cute, she may start drooling (or maybe nosebleed). Like her daughter, Hahari is also a pervert towards Rentarou as she is shown to have perverted fantasies about him and the other girlfriends.
She is incredibly wealthy and willing to throw her money around to get what she (or Rentarou) wants.
Although she fell in love with Rentarou, Hahari still deeply loves her deceased husband. She feels guilty about falling in love again until Rentarou comforts her and assures her that there is nothing wrong with loving more than one person.

Familial Wealth[]
As the head of the Hanazono family, and CEO of the Hanazono conglomerate, Hahari has access to vast wealth and resources. Founded by her predecessors, they were wealthy and successful enough to sponsor her favorite childhood television show, Teddy Baby.
The best example of Hahari's wealth is the Hanazono Mansion - a large, luxurious family home, equipped with many expensive features - including a large indoor bath, halls of chandeliers, and a large, deep courtyard fountain. Hahari also employs a large team of service staff (such as maids and security personnel) to maintain and protect her home. As personal transport, Hahari also owns a large fleet of luxury sedans (modelled on Rolls-Royce Phantoms), a helicopter, and a private jet.
Hahari can also afford many things which would have been unaffordable for the average person - including funding her own artificial insemination, buying Ohananomitsu High School to spend more time with her beloved boyfriend (and installing herself as the school board's chairperson), and building an entire facility simply to live out her fantasies of "playing mommy" with the members of Rentarou's Family.
History[]
When Hahari was very young, she fell in love with a sickly boy her age who did not have long to live, and because of how much she loved him, she made arrangements with doctors to artificially inseminate herself with his genes in order to leave "proof of his existence". She gave birth to Hakari Hanazono when she was 13 years old and the boy she loved passed away before they could even kiss.
Because of this experience, Hahari grew up jaded and constantly questioning if she was, or could be, happy without her love beside her. She devoted her entire life to Hakari and vowed to not let anything cause Hakari the same pain that Hahari went through.
As a result, when Hahari finds out about Rentarou Aijou five-timing her daughter, she forbids Hakari from seeing him again. When Rentarou and his family sneak into her house in the middle of the night to steal Hakari away, Hahari is understandably angry and only refrains from having them hurt because it would make Hakari sad.
She is initially resistant to believing that Rentarou loves Hakari, despite his vehement insistence that he does. Even after meeting his eyes and feeling the soulmate shock, Hahari continues to resist her feelings and keep Rentarou and Hakari apart. It isn't until Hakari attempts to jump from her bedroom window, and Rentarou saves her by putting himself in danger, that Hahari relents and accepts not only Hakari's feelings for Rentarou, but her own as well. It is at this point that Hahari is brought into the family, immediately gushing over how cute Rentarou is.
Hahari buys the entire school and becomes chairwoman in order to stay close to Rentarou.

Rentarou Aijou[]
At first time, Hahari was very against Rentarou as Hakari's boyfriend. She was thinking that he was a five-timing maggot. It wasn't until she met him that she saw him differently, realizing how he truly loves Hakari and his girlfriends. She later accepted it after she felt guilty for her dark past and at the same time agreed to be one of Rentarou's girlfriend.
Hakari Hanazono[]
Hakari is Hahari's daughter and the only child of the man she fell in love with, whom she is very protective of, even willing to make Hakari hate her in order to prevent her from feeling the same heartbreak that she experienced as her dark past.
Mei Meido[]
Mei is Hahari's maid who follows her with the utmost devotion and loyalty. Mei will defend Hahari with her life (if necessary), without any hesitation. She is loyal to the point that, when she also falls in love with Rentarou, she refuses to pursue him because Hahari is already in love with him. However, when Hahari tells Mei to be honest with her feelings, Mei immediately changes her tune and asks Rentarou out.
Hakari's Father[]
Hahari met the boy she fell blindly in love with before her second year in middle school. Despite him being ridden with a life-threatening disease, Hahari made arrangements with "the highest authorities of the medical field" at 13 years old to leave proof of his existence through the use of artificial insemination.
Etymology[]
- Hanazono means "flower, blossom" (花) (hana) and "garden, park, plantation" (園) (sono/zono).
- Hahari means "feather" (羽) (ha) and "village" (里) (ri).
- Hahari is a play on Hakari's name along with Haha, which can also mean "mother" (母) (haha).

- Hahari has kissed and been kissed by Rentarou at least 31 times as of Chapter 180.
- Hahari also has kissed and been kissed by Hakari at least 10 times as of Chapter 212.
- In Chapter 44, Hahari has had the first named French kiss in the series with Kurumi Haraga. This chapter can also go to Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda considering the kiss scene in Chapter 12 to be french. Also, in the same chapter, Hahari unknowingly French kissed Hakari while blindfolded.
- In Chapter 110, Hahari gets kissed by Hakari as the latter demonstrates her lover recognizing kissing skills.
- Hahari also has kissed and been kissed by Hakari at least 10 times as of Chapter 212.
- Hahari is the first girlfriend introduced to be a legal adult in Japan's jurisdiction (at least 20 years of age).
- Not including Kusuri and Yaku, Hahari is the oldest member of Rentarou's Family at 29 years old (biologically).
- In Chapter 47, Hahari asks Mei Meido for a kiss, not as her maid, but as a dear friend, implying a deep emotional bond. Mei agrees, and the two nearly kiss, but Mei suddenly pulls back, claiming a “spontaneous stomach rupture” at the thought of sullying Hahari’s lips. The moment is played primarily for comedy, and while there is clear affection between them, the kiss ultimately does not happen.
- Hakari has been a lascivious person ever since she was little. In chapter 79, she tells Rentarou that she used to French kiss her Teddy Bear every evening.
- Hahari's birthday is on May 12th. On this day in 1948, Japan started using "Maternal and Child Health Handbooks (母子手帳)(Boshi techou)", a small notebook to record the health of mothers and their children during and after pregnancy.
