Hakari Hanazono (
She is one of Rentarou Aijou's first two girlfriends (with Karane Inda), and is a first-year student at Ohananomitsu High School, in class 1-4.

Hakari is an attractive teenage girl, with short pink hair styled in a bob, and green eyes. She also wears two white flower hair clips (one on either side of her head).
Hakari is slightly shorter than Rentarou, and has a busty, curvaceous figure (even by high school standards). She has a G-cup bust (much to fellow girlfriend Karane's envy), and wide hips. Hakari also has beauty marks on her right thigh and under her left chest.
School Uniform[]
Hakari customises her Ohananomitsu High School uniform by shortening her skirt, revealing her thighs. She wears a red uniform ribbon, white socks with small red bows, and black loafers.
Personality[]
On the surface, Hakari is a typical high school girl - who really, really, really, really, really loves her boyfriend. She has a cheerful, loving personality (known as デレデ, deredere), and is not shy about expressing her affection towards Rentarou. She is also kind, and helps some of the other girlfriends with troubles related to their attractiveness and femininity.
However, beneath the surface, Hakari hides an extremely dirty mind. She frequently fantasizes about Rentarou and her in erotic situations, and regularly comes up with ways to initiate physical contact and seduce him.

Hakari carries herself with the mannerisms of a proper young lady, with her schoolmates seeing her as such. As the daughter of a wealthy family, Hakari has access to many facilities and resources normally unavailable to a regular high school girl, such as a fully-equipped photography studio (for shooting sexy pinup photos).[4]
History[]
Hakari first meets Rentarou (with Karane), when they all bump into each other on their first day of school. Upon their first meeting, Hakari pretends to have twisted her ankle (as an excuse to get closer to Rentarou), and has Rentarou help her to the school infirmary.
After hearing of the school legend about giving someone a pink four-leaf clover for success in confessing one's love, Hakari and Karane head to the schoolyard to find one. When Rentarou buys her a drink to cool off during her search, Hakari quickly formulates a plan to have an indirect kiss with Rentarou. Though this fails, Hakari eventually musters up her courage, and is the first girl to confess her feelings for Rentarou and ask him out. After Karane also confesses her feelings to Rentarou, the latter asks for until the next day to give them his answer.
When Rentarou meets Hakari and Karane the next morning, he says he would like to date both of them at the same time. Hakari receives a pink four-leaf clover from him (with Karane), and is extremely moved by his honesty and the romantic nature of the confession. Hakari accepts Rentarou's proposal to date both of them at the same time, resulting in her becoming one of his first two girlfriends.

Rentarou Aijou[]
Hakari's beloved boyfriend, and classmate in Class 1-4.
Hakari was the first girl to confess her feelings to Rentarou. While she loves everything about him, she especially loves being physically close to him, and regularly tries to seduce him or get him to touch her intimately.
Karane Inda[]
One of Rentarou's first two girlfriends (along with her), and her classmate in Class 1-4.
Though they often bicker (with Karane's tsundere personality clashing with Hakari's more straightforward, perverted personality), they are extremely close as friends, and in their mutual love for Rentarou. Hakari and Karane's relationship has moments of extreme closeness, used primary for comedic effect in the story (such as having them make out with each other).
Hahari Hanazono[]
Hakari's mother, and one of her co-girlfriends in Rentarou's Family.
Hahari gave birth to Hakari when she was just 13, and raised her as a single mother. She initially disapproved of her relationship with Rentarou, going so far as to confine her to her room and begin proceedings to transfer her to another school. However, after attempting to rescue her, Rentarou meets Hahari, and they turn out to be soulmates. Hahari eventually gives her blessing for their relationship - and even joins her daughter in dating the same person.
Though Hakari loves her mother dearly, she does get annoyed when the latter behaves immaturely (such as by wanting to play "mommy" to the members of Rentarou's Family by turning them into babies).
Mei Meido[]
One of the maids working for her household at the Hanazono Mansion, and one of her co-girlfriends in Rentarou's Family.
After Hahari adopts Mei into the household as a live-in maid, she is assigned to take care of Hakari. Since Mei was abandoned by her parents, Hakari took the initiative to educate Mei about playing, desserts, and even self-pleasure. Hakari also calmed Mei down when the latter was stressed about nursing Mai back to health.
Mei sees Hakari as somewhat of an older sister figure, despite being the older one of the two.[5]
Yamame Yasashiki[]
One of Hakari's schoolmates (in the same year), and one of her co-girlfriends in Rentarou's Family.
Hakari seeks gardening advice from Yamame, which has benefited the flowers she grows at home. In exchange, Hakari helps Yamame become more confident in her body and overall attractiveness, despite her great height and size.[4]
Etymology[]
- Hanazono (花園) means "flower, blossom" (花) (hana) and "garden, park, plantation" (園) (sono/zono).
- This is a reference to the phrase "頭がお花畑 (Atama ga Ohanabatake)". It translates to having "a flower garden in one's head", and is used to describe someone who frequently has fantasies or delusions - much like Hakari and her lewd fantasies about Rentarou.
- Hakari (羽香里) means "feather" (羽) (ha), "fragrance, fragrant" (香) (ka) and "village" (里) (ri).
- Hakari is also a homophone of the word "plan" (図り)(hakari).

- Hakari has kissed and been kissed by Rentarou at least 40 times as of Chapter 188.
- Hakari also has kissed and been kissed by Karane at least 11 times as of Chapter 201. It quite possibly holds the record for length, given that they made out continuously for several times and for most of the night in Chapter 110.
- Hakari also has kissed and been kissed by Hahari at least 10 times as of Chapter 212.
- In Chapter 44, Hakari was unknowingly french kissed by Hahari while unconscious.
- Conversely in Chapter 110, Hakari herself unknowingly kisses Hahari when she demonstrates her lover recognizing kissing skills.
- Hakari's birthday, June 22nd, is a form of Goroawase(wordplay) for her distinctive laughter, 'むふふ' (mufufu), mu(6)fu(2)fu(2).
- "622" is also the number on the vehicle registration plate on one of the cars owned by the Hanazono family, driven by Mei Meido.[6]
- Although Rentarou confessed to both Hakari and Karane at the same time, Hakari is often considered his first girlfriend (due to her confessing first, and due to her being the first to accept the polyamorous relationship over Karane).
- Hakari is the first girlfriend whose romantic relationship with Rentarou was rejected by her parents (in this case, her mother).
- Hahari later came to accept Hakari's relationship with Rentarou, becoming one of his girlfriends in the process.
- In Chapter 121, it is confirmed that Hakari masturbates, though it is referred to as "mwehehe practice" instead, presumably for censorship reasons. This is further backed up in Chapter 143 in a flashback where a young Hakari tells Mei about rubbing her crotch on the corner of a table.
