Kurumi has shoulder-length purple hair, emerald eyes and thick eyebrows. She wears the standard school uniform with a dark-colored hoodie, and a pair of headphones.
Personality[]
Kurumi has a large appetite and emotional hunger. She is getting irritated when she starts getting very hungry. Because to this, she is the kind of person who gets angry easily and needs snacks to resolve her anger. She also likes to be isolated because of her temper, until she meets Rentarou. She develops a taste for Rentarou similar to her taste for food. She has good table manners.
Kurumi has a strong word-association when it comes to food. Almost anything can remind her of food, at which point she has to eat that food or else she will become irritable. This is also why she wears a hoodie and headphones to minimize seeing or hearing things that will trigger her appetite.

Fast Metabolism[]
Kurumi has an incredibly fast metabolism that allows her to eat a huge amount of food with little to no issues.
History[]
Kurumi is Rentarou's 7th girlfriend whom she first met when they both reached for the same fried egg toast from the school cafeteria. Initially cold and aggressive, she only began to warm up to Rentarou after he buys and splits the fried egg toast with her. After eating, Kurumi apologizes for her behavior and explains that she becomes irritable when she's hungry; unfortunately, due to her outrageously high metabolism, she is almost always hungry. She is still cold to Rentarou for a time, but she expresses her feelings for him when he continues to reach out to her despite her temperament.
Etymology[]
- Haraga means "field, plain" (原) (hara) or "stomach" (腹) (hara), and "congratulations, joy" (賀) (ga).
- Kurumi means "walnut" (胡桃) (kurumi).

- Kurumi has kissed and been kissed by Rentarou at least 8 times as of Chapter 107
- Kurumi has been French kissed by Hahari in chapter 44
- Kurumi, alongside with Karane and Kishika are often referred to as the tsukkomi/straight man[2] of the group.
- Kurumi's birthday is on September 3rd. This is a Goroawase, wordplay on her name Ku(9)ruMi(3). This is also the way Hifumi Suu was able to remember her name in Chapter 124.
