Mimimi is a self-proclaimed beauty, with long flowing blonde hair, teal eyes with long eyelashes, and a slender, tall figure.
Her hair is parted in the middle, revealing her forehead.
School Uniform[]
She wears a heavily modified version of the Ohananomitsu High School girl's uniform over the basic blouse and skirt, she wears a brown corset. She also wears a teal cross bow-tie instead of the standard uniform necktie.
Mimimi also wears black stockings embellished with a floral pattern, which are held up by thigh garters.
Personality[]
Mimimi is very haughty and narcissistic, constantly complimenting herself and talking about her beauty. She is obsessed with beauty to the point that she takes it upon herself to make Rentarou beautiful as well once she meets him. While believing herself to be almost unparalleled in her looks, she is very competitive to the rival she admits surpasses her, Nano Eiai.
Despite her appearance of a naturally beautiful rich girl, Mimimi actually works incredibly hard to provide for herself and keep herself beautiful. She works for herself to earn money, is frugal where appropriate so she can afford expensive, gorgeous clothing, and puts significant effort into her appearance.
Though she puts a lot of value on outward appearances, Mimimi also recognizes inner beauty when she sees it.

She has advanced beauty knowledge, being able to bring out the beauty of anyone and knowing the best ways to take care of herself. She is able to attract attention thanks to her beauty.

According to Rentarou, Mimimi has photokinesis ability. Her large forehead can reflect sunlight.

When Mimimi combines her beauty with Meme's instant disappearance, it's becoming the distraction with beautiful flow, functioning as a distraction, doubling its effect.

When Mimimi combines her beauty with Nano's one, it's emitting beauty aura that shine brightly which can dazzled the eyes.
Fast Running[]
Mimimi is shown to be extremely fast on her feet due to her part-time work as a newspaper deliverer girl making her one of the more athletic members of the Rentarou Family. This allowed for her to be the anchor for the Sukisugi female relay during the Quad-Town Sports Festival securing victory.[3]
History[]
Mimimi first met Rentarou at a shopping mall. They made eye contact almost immediately, and Mimimi joyously took Rentarou's hand and gave him the "right" to date her.
Her initial attraction to Rentarou was primarily superficial, and she decides to give him a makeover after remarking he wasn't "suited" to date her looking like he did. However, after a slight altercation with some other mallgoers that ends with Rentarou protecting her from getting boba tea splashed on her, Mimimi recognizes that Rentarou is beautiful inside and out, and asks him out properly.
When Mimimi was in junior high, she took part in the same beauty pageant as her rival, Nano Eiai. Nano won first place, and while Mimimi was disappointed in her loss, she accepted it and attempted to make friends with Nano. Nano, however, dismissed her entirely, stating that friendship was "meaningless." This caused Mimimi to resent Nano for years, until they met again after Mimimi joined Rentarou Family. Mimimi rematch Nano to a competition, with the punishment for losing being kicked out of Rentarou Family. Through Rentarou's efforts, the two girls tie, and Nano apologizes for dismissing Mimimi. The two girls are able to become friends after this.

Mimimi first met Rentarou at a shopping mall and admits that he is beautiful inside and outside.
Nano Eiai[]
Mimimi was Nano's rival when she took part in a beauty contest in middle school. After Mimimi admited her loss, she often gets flustered when imagining Nano and her beauty.
Meme Kakure[]
Meme has been shown to be quite close with Mimimi after she helped Meme avoid journalists[4]. They are often paired together in subsequent chapters and Mimimi has even kissed her neck[5]. Mimimi even notes that Meme's face is exceptionally beautiful and desires to know her beauty tips.
Etymology[]
- Utsukushisugi uses the kanji for "Beauty or Beautiful"(美) (Utsukushii) and "Cedar" (杉)(Sugi). However, the name more literally translates to "too beautiful"; the sugi ending in this case comes from sugiru (過ぎる), a verb meaning something is in excess or "too much."
- Mimimi (美々美) contains the kanji for "Beauty or Beautiful" (美) twice, which is utilized for the first and third kanji for her given name and also uses the noma Kanji (々), which repeats the same Kanji that precedes it. Her name can be interpreted as "extremely beautiful".
- Her full name utilizes the Kanji for "Beauty" three times and utilizes the On'yomi and Kun'yomi pronunciations for her surname and given name respectively. If the Noma Kanji is counted, technically four times.
Trivia[]
- Mimimi has kissed and been kissed by Rentarou at least 25 times as of Chapter 180.
- Mimimi's birthday, March 3rd, is a Goroawase (wordplay) as mi is another way to say the number 3 in Japanese. Suu is able to remember Mimimi's name in the same way in Chapter 124.
- This day is also known in Japan as "Hinamatsuri" or "Girls' Day".
- Mimimi is the first girlfriend introduced who is taller than Rentarou.
