Momiji Momi (茂 (も) 見 (み) 紅葉 (もみじ) , Momi Momiji^?) also known as The Mystery Masseuse is Rentarou's 15th girlfriend. She is a 3rd year, class 2 student at Ohananomitsu Middle School.

Appearance

Momiji is a petite girl with purple eyes. She wears her lavender hair in a high ponytail, with a large pink bow hair-scrunchie. Momiji also usually has a stoic, neutral expression on her face.

School Uniform

Momoji usually wears a dressed down version of the Ohananomitsu Middle School girl's uniform, with her blouse tucked out and no necktie. She also usually wears a beige sweater vest, and has red sleeve garters at her wrists.

Momiji also wears sneakers to school - hers are white with pink, blue and gold accents.

Personality

Momiji is somewhat stoic and blunt, blatantly admitting to her love of massaging (especially women) without concern for how perverse it may sound. She loves fondling things, especially things that are soft, including women, certain foods, and character-based mousepads.

Due to her love of soft things, she has picked up a hobby of kneading dough, resulting in her baking bread a lot. When she goes out to eat, she will often opt out of the restaurant's specialties in favor of nicer feeling foods such as noodles or takoyaki.

Momiji feels revitalized every time she gropes something. Inversely, when she has not groped anything for an extend period of time, she feels drained and yearns to grope something.

Momiji is an extremely skilled masseuse, to the point of being an urban legend at her school.

Her motivation for massaging comes from her love of all things soft (especially women's bodies), and she learned as much as she could to be able to heal anyone with her massages.

Momiji's massages are so good, her recipients tend to completely black out and lose all their memories of being massaged. She is also able to identify any sore or strain on the body at a glance.

Special Move: Forehead Anma Massage

When massaging Yamame for the first time, Momiji realizes her hands are too small for the massage to be truly effective - so she uses her forehead like a massage gun, shaking it rapidly to augment her efforts.

Momiji's love of fondling soft things stems from her extreme sense of touch. Due to her tactile senses, she is able to identify even the most minute details in their feel. This allows her to identify every member of the Rentarou Family from touch alone.

History

Little is known about Momiji prior to her introduction. According to her parents, she has always loved touching soft things. This became an obsession when, as a child, she entered a bouncy castle and inadvertently groped a young Hakari. Seconds later, she experienced the soulmate shock while groping Hahari, and became a slave to the feeling of softness.

At some point in middle school, she started going around giving random people massages. Her skills were so great it led to rumors that Rentarou investigated leading to them meeting.

Etymology

• Momi (茂見) means "dense" or "lush" (茂) (mo) and "view" (見) (mi).
  • Momi comes from "to massage" (揉む)(momu) and the Japanese onomatopoeia "momimomi" (もみもみ/揉み揉み) which is a colloquial way of referring to massaging or squeezing.
• Momiji (紅葉) means "red" (紅) (momi) "leaf" (葉) (ji)", which translate to "autumn leaves".

• Momiji has kissed and been kissed by Rentarou at least 23 times as of Chapter 181.
• Momiji's character-based mousepad shown in Chapter 69 resembles Nami from One Piece.
• Momiji's birthday, April 8th, is called Finger Pressure Day (指 (し) 圧 (あつ) の日 (ひ) , Shiatsu no hi^?) by the Japan Shiatsu Association as 'Shiatsu' is a Goroawase (wordplay) for 4(shi) and 8(yatsu).
